U.S. relocation program

program types

There are several types of programs depending on your work situation. Each is structured to provide:

  • Logistical support for your relocation.
  • Financial assistance with relocation expenses.
  • Support for you and your family with the transition to your new location.

You must complete your relocation within one year of your payroll transfer date to your new work location.  You should initiate your relocation immediately upon acceptance of your job offer.

Chevron does not allow new hires or current employees to self-move in conjunction with any job posting or job offer. For positions that are relocation-eligible, Chevron will provide relocation assistance utilizing the appropriate relocation program. For positions that are not relocation-eligible, Chevron will source local candidates that do not need to relocate to the posted job location.

change your address and report your move
Changing your home address may prompt a change to your U.S. benefits - especially if you moved outside the area covered by your medical or dental plan. You have 31 days from the date you moved to make a change to your benefits, if necessary. For this reason, it's important to report your address change right away. Even if your benefits aren't affected, it's still critical to update Chevron's HR, pay and benefit systems with your new address to ensure you continue to receive important communications about your benefits and for other key HR and payroll processes. Learn how to change your address here.
