Then you can choose goals, work with a health coach, and use a variety of online tools and resources that are personalized to you. Create your personal Healthy You account and take care of your health.

how to get started

step 1: get your numbers (optional)
When you take the health questionnaire (HQ), you’ll be asked to provide your personal health numbers including certain lab test results, such as your blood pressure and cholesterol. Getting your recommended preventive care is one way to know your numbers and can help you protect your health today and in the future. There are also other resources available to know your numbers. You don’t need your numbers to take the HQ or to participate in the Healthy You program, but you’ll receive more comprehensive results if you do.

step 2: take the HQ
Take the voluntary health questionnaire (HQ) and in as little as 15 minutes receive a personalized wellness score with a plan of action to improve your health. If you don’t already have a WebMD Healthy You account, follow our instructions to create one. You can take the HQ as often as you'd like to reassess your health risks.

step 3: use program resources
The results of your voluntary HQ will include a suggested personal action plan to help you reduce or manage risk factors. From your Healthy You account, you can create Daily Habit plans, work with a health coach, and use a variety of other online tools and personalized resources to start making some of the suggested lifestyle changes or maintain your good health.

what's included in healthy you

As part of the Chevron Healthy You program, you'll have access to personalized WebMD health education materials, tools and resources designed to support you in maintaining your good health and if needed, in making healthy lifestyle changes. On the surface, these tools may look similar to WebMD.com standard tools, but Healthy You includes additional elements that are unique to Chevron participants. Keep in mind that Healthy You resources or activities are not medical advice or a substitute for seeking treatment and guidance from your personal health care provider.

Expand each section below to learn about Healthy You program features.

The online voluntary health questionnaire (HQ) will ask you a series of basic questions to help you identify your health risk factors. Using your answers to the questions, you’ll receive:

  • A wellness score.
  • A personal report highlighting your risk factors.
  • An action plan to help you maintain your health or to make healthy changes.

The HQ will also request you to provide certain health numbers, such as blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar, height and weight. It's your choice to provide these numbers. You don't need to provide them to take the health questionnaire, but you'll receive a more comprehensive result if you do.

The HQ is completely voluntary, but taking - and retaking it each year - may be a helpful way to monitor your personal health. Only you, WebMD, Chevron health care plans, and certain third-party health care plan vendors will have access to your individual results.

After you complete the health questionnaire (HQ), you'll receive a suggested personal action plan with goals, ideas and resources to help you maintain your health or to make healthy changes. These recommendations will be tailored to your personal situation based on the results of your HQ.

Access your Healthy You account to take the HQ and receive your personal action plan.
After you take the HQ, you’ll have the option to be paired with a professional WebMD health coach

WebMD health coaches are qualified professionals who are educated with at least a bachelor's degree in a health-related field. Health coaches can work with you on any number of health areas that affect your total well-being — from stress management and exercise to tobacco cessation and nutrition. The topics you discuss with a coach are personalized to you and are based on your current health status and your health goals. Discussing the results of your HQ is often a good conversation starter. You can connect with a WebMD health coach by phone or through secure messaging available online through the WebMD Healthy You website.

See the contacts section below for more information about how to contact a health coach.

Reminder: Eligible spouses and domestic partners can use health coaching. Eligible dependents cannot use health coaching, regardless of age.

The Daily Habits feature provides an interactive, online approach to work on daily and one-time activities to help you form healthy habits. It’s like a digital health coach in your pocket. Daily Habits plans to choose from include those that focus on weight, tobacco cessation, diabetes, nutrition, exercise, stress management, emotional health and more.

  • Start by selecting to work on up to three daily habit plans at a time.
  • Check in daily to answer questions designed to encourage healthy habits and to stay on track.
  • Lifestyle plans encourage daily habits over the next 28 days.
  • Condition management plans encourage daily habits over the next 90 days.
