The Chevron Healthy You program is an important component of the health and wellness resources offered by Chevron. Healthy You helps you develop personalized healthy habits by offering resources to support your total well-being. These include a mobile and computer-based platform managed by Virgin Pulse, a lifestyle and heart survey with scores, a hub for local resources, activity challenges, rewards* and a variety of personalized online tools and resources. The Chevron Healthy You program focuses on overall health and provides an interactive tool with resources to help reduce risks and work toward improving overall well-being. This program also supports the operational excellence focus on workforce safety and health.

The Healthy You digital platform is a resource available to employees who are eligible to participate in the Chevron Healthy You program. The site is managed by Virgin Pulse, a top wellbeing provider. It contains a lifestyle and heart age survey and a variety of resources that can be customized to your particular needs. Healthy You was designed to cultivate good lifestyle habits and gives users a customized experience based on their personal health profiles and interests. As a user, each time you log in to the secure and confidential site, you'll see a homepage that suggests actions and content specifically for you. The more often you use the website, the more personalized your experience becomes.

Healthy You tools and resources are designed to cultivate good lifestyle habits and gives users a customized experience based on their personal health profiles and interests. 

Note: Healthy You supplements your regular examinations and provides additional perspective about your health. Healthy You is not a medical or health care service and is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical consultation, advice, or treatment from qualified physicians. It does not replace regular visits to your health care provider. It is recommended that you visit a qualified physician before using any health or wellbeing program and that you also share the results of your health assessment with your own regular health care provider.

participation

Review the Eligibility to Participate information for the Chevron Healthy You program available in your country to learn more about who can participate and who cannot.
Friends and family are not able to participate in the full features available to employees on the Virgin Pulse Healthy You website. However, Chevron employees can invite up to 10 of their friends or family members outside of Chevron to participate in personal challenges set up on their Healthy You account. This participation for friends and family is limited to the invited challenges and other select features.
If you are a Chevron employee in a country where Healthy You is available, you should register for your own Healthy You account first. Then, accept the friend request from your account by going to the Friends page. To participate in the full employee experience, do not accept a friend request from the notification email; log in to your Healthy You account to accept all requests. If you have accepted a friend request from outside your account, contact Virgin Pulse for technical assistance (see the contact information at the bottom of this page).

If you are a friend or family of a Chevron employee you can choose to accept friend requests and register for your own Healthy You account. If you accept, you can then encourage and compete with the employee in personal challenges. Please note that you will not have access to full Healthy You website features and your participation will be limited to participation in invited personal challenges. 

lifestyle and heart age survey

The lifestyle and heart age survey can be found on the Programs page in your Virgin Pulse Healthy You account and is a health assessment that helps you understand your risk factors and learn about healthy lifestyle choices. Taking the survey requires only about 15 minutes. You will receive a lifestyle score and a heart age score, and a breakdown of the risks evaluated. In your results you could see recommended small, simple steps to make positive lifestyle changes to reduce certain risks or encouragement to maintain your health. If you find out you are at risk and receive proper guidance on how to minimize your risks, you can work to reduce the risks for developing health conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, and stroke. You are encouraged to take the survey as many times as you like and to share your results with your healthcare provider.
To get the most accurate results possible, you should come prepared with important health information – your numbers. You do not need your numbers to take the lifestyle and heart age survey, but you'll receive more comprehensive results if you do. If you don't know all your numbers, you can still take the survey and provide the information you have available. Once you have your numbers, you can update your lifestyle and heart age survey and receive updated results. More information about the numbers used in the survey and how to get your numbers is available here.
If you complete the lifestyle and heart age survey online, you will get your results immediately. You can print a copy of your results for your personal records when accessed from the web.
Disease history and biometric information (such as your height and weight) are needed to accurately generate your results and recommendations to assist you with maintaining or improving your health.
You'll receive a personalized report with suggestions to help you reduce your risk of disease. The tools and programs available from Healthy You, along with local resources and your own healthcare provider, can help you put those plans into action.
