This guide provides a detailed look at new plan services and features, key dates and steps to take before and after the blackout period. It also includes your ESIP investment lineup, and tools and resources from Fidelity.

 

Important Notice Concerning Your Rights Under the Chevron Employee Savings Investment Plan and Executive Plans

This legally required notice provides additional information about the transition and the temporary blackout period during which you will be unable to complete certain account transactions. It will be included with your transition guide.

Brokerage account transfer kit

 

If you participate in the brokerage option, you’ll receive information about Fidelity BrokerageLink.

Some securities may be changing, which means you’ll need to take action if you’re invested in them.

You’ll also need to complete and return an acknowledgement form before you can use your Fidelity BrokerageLink account.

This is an opportunity to learn about the transition, important dates and key features of the Fidelity website, NetBenefits.

Blackout period begins:

- December 18 for brokerage accounts

- December 26 for ESIP (non-brokerage) and executive plan accounts

This is when your assets will be transferred from Vanguard to Fidelity.

During this time, you will not be able to change your investments or contribution rates, initiate a loan, or request a withdrawal or distribution.

You will still be able to log in to your account at Vanguard to view your balances.

Blackout period ends (week of January 7)

You will be notified by mail when the transition to Fidelity is complete. Active employees will also be notified by email. At that time, you can register for online access to manage your
account(s) at Fidelity.

Managed account enrollment kit

If you are currently enrolled in the Vanguard Managed Account Program (VMAP), you will receive additional information about Fidelity’s managed account program, called Fidelity Portfolio Advisory Service at Work (PAS-W), after the transition is complete.
